Professor Omowumi O. Iledare is a distinguished petroleum economist with over four decades of experience in the global oil and gas industry. He currently holds the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Professorial Chair in Oil and Gas Economics and Management at the University of Cape Coast’s Oil and Gas Institute.

Academic and Professional Background:

  • Professor Emeritus: Served as a Professor of Petroleum Economics and Policy Research at Louisiana State University’s Center for Energy Studies, where he also directed the Energy Information and Data Division.
